openssh 2.3 rpms

Has anyone tried installing the openssh2.3 rpms on a RedHat 6.2 box?  It 
appears to be built only for 7.0.  I was able to install from a tarball, 
but would like to be able to do so from an rpm.  Also, I tried compiling 
the source rpm that I downloaded, but got failed depenencies even on that.
