Just for what its worth: On HP-UX 10.20 paths to shared libraries are
compiled in by default and SHLIB_PATH is not enabled by default. You
must explicitly enable it while linking (+s switch) or you can change it
later with chattr.
The best solution on HP-UX is to correctly specify the paths to libraries
and include files via CPPFLAGS and LDFLAGS.
