I just installed Openssl 0.9.6b fine. I am now running ./configure to get
SSH 2.9p2 installed and I get the following message at the end of the
output:

checking for OpenSSL directory... configure: error: Could not find working
OpenSSL library, please install or check config.log

I have tried using ./configure --with-ssl-dir=/usr/local/ssl/ and got the
same thing. I ran the ./configure script and did a tail -f on the config.log
and saw nothing being written there.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
