I just bought a VServer [You know you want one: www.vservers.com], anyway, I
paid extra for the SSL support (who wouldn't).

VServers hint that I shuld go to Thawte or VeriSign, but not for me! I want
to make my own certificate server.

Well those who have read my postings before know that I have little
imaginiation, and need cookbooks, and don't mind writing them if someone
else tells me what to do.

The VServers chaps said:

>Thanks for the additional information. I still don't think it will work on
>our servers (the SSLeay generation) but I am checking with our experts on
>this. I believe that you need to generate it for the Stronghold SSL which
>is what we use. I will get back to you shortly on this.

I don't really know what he is talking about, I thought server certificates
were pretty boring and all the same (except in the right places).

Does anyone know better? [The webserver used is Apache I am sure - its what
they use for non-ssl]
