Hmm I think you could be right.  I recall Thawte aren't stinky like Verisgn,
and charge for the checks required and not for the certifcate, and further
certificates of the same class are free.

But I am told that Thawte certs. only work on 90% of the browsers out there
and verisign work on about 99%.  This sounds weird to me.  Yes I will look
at Thawte, but probably end up doing my own anyway.

I like Thawte, and do not like verisign, who seem to be remarkably deep with
MS (like only they can fill the Policy field, etc) Yes - I'm just jealous.
