Phil,
I mentioned the firebox plate in passing in my last note. This was
another example. Gordon came to Diamondhead with his usual
wares for sale, and in front of his display he had laid a stack of 20
or 25 of these plates, free for the taking. I didn't know what I'd do
with one, exactly, but I figured it was a chance to learn from a pro,
and it was! So there's another example.
Plus, he builds nice locomotives!
