Folks:

We're in the midst of planning our new deck here at the Grand Teton &
Everglades Steam Excursion Co.

For those of you unversed in weather here in Pacifica, it is almost
year-round fog-bound. So the deck will have to withstand quite a bit of
moisture.

Further, I prefer running steamers to doing maintenance on a deck.

These two factors have lead us to plastic lumber (see
http://www.plasticlumberyard.com or http://www.usplasticlumber.com/). Has
anyone worked with this stuff? It appears that the Phoenix stuff is better
than the SmartDeck stuff (because it can be used for load-bearing support),
but maybe I'm missing something here.

Thoughts, comments, etc. welcomed.
