Having used both  for drilling I would  use the drill press any day.
I have not milled with the drill press yet  and have ordered milling bits for it.
Between the two the drill press is far more accurate, re: the dremel, I made my own 
rig for the
dremel using a large nut that was the same thread as the dremel tools . This nut is 
welded to a
2 inch washer to which I attached a bracket that will let me mount the dremel tool 
onto a
vertical bar.  Crude but stable.
I am using the 1/2 hp craftsman drill press and I love it - although there are more 
accurate ones
the price also increases.
For 100$ the dremel is great - especially the pro unit which has a digitally  
controlled rpm and a bit more torque.
