Gary, this is a combined sand and steam dome, sort of streamlined;-)))) These are cute and very slow locomotives, the drivers are 600mm. I have never seen one in action, only in a museum in Sochaczew. (which by the way is probably the largest narrow gauge museum in Europe, unfortunately only a couple of the locomotives are operational). Here is the info page of one Kp4 in Sochaczew: http://www.holdys.pl/tomi/index.php?desc=on&par=kp4-3760 It looks like this Kp4 underwent general revision in 1994 and worked until 2001 so it should not be very difficult to bring it back to service.
