Thank you for the clarification Bertrand. It is not an essential bundle. I had thought some of classes in that jar are essential to access CRX. Maybe I was wrong. I will try with Jackrabbit.

If that jar is not required that's the best thing to do, agreed. AFAIK
Jackrabbit also provides RMI access jars if you need them.
