If the 2100EZ is for the Windows side, as you can see from their firmware update selection can one place this drive in a PC and upgrade under Windows 98 then place it back in the Mac 4400 under OS 9.1 and expect it to work? IS this update to firmware only for the PC or will this work on the Mac as well.. Anyone tried it? I sent out a message to Yamaha as well but will not hear from them till sometime next week.
