Processor upgrade/RAM upgrade?
The first one I did was RAM because the processor upgrade was not
available for the 5000 for a long time. I bought 64 MB of RAM at about
$90, which was a good deal. It was particularly good when it rose to
more than twice that much as recently as last year. If the $40 64 MB
works, it is more than worth it. I seem to run RAM-hungry applications.
I have had no problems with my Sonnet Crescendo 350/1 MB in my 5000
MT. Doubled with 32 MB DIMM, which ever Sonnet upgrade might be okay,
but if you want to use 64 MB, the 32 MB will become nearly worthless.
Just my opinion.
