A. You're right, there's way too much extraneous quoting.
B. You need to update your abilities to manage an e-list and that would
include an HTML compatible program AND a bot or something to filter out
everything after 20 lines FOR US. That's a service a computer can provide if
you set it and forget it so we don't have to manually play with this.
Editing e-mail makes the list a WASTE of time regardless of the incredible
knowledge here if you have to continually play with editing your e-mail.
Can't you write a macro or something that will simply cut off all the
extraneous stuff after the first 20 lines or so of every message? People
will learn to keep it simple if you do! On the rare occasions that it's
necessary to piece together parts of a message, an individual can choose to
do that on their own based on the stored messages in their inbox. But you're
right, it's rarely necessary to quote all that stuff and it's equally
unnecessary for the computer to pass that buck to the people the service
serves.........
