Thanks for the control panel. I am going to see if it speeds up things
for me. I enjoyed your Starmax site and marvelled at how you managed to
get everything into your desktop. I will no longer complain about my tower!

You mentioned in your improvemnets on 8.6 about using "FinderPop" to
reveal information about applications running in the background. I have
used MATM (More About This Macintosh) and it does a similar job plus
shows memory usage and some other information. You might want to try it.
I don't remember where I got it. I have had it for several years.
