ok, my new problem is that when I bought this Starmax it has a 1gb Jaz (internal) and a Zip ...
it did not come with a jaz disc so i had no way to test it. I bought one on ebay. ... it works in my 2gb jaz...but freaks out when i have filesharing/appletalk on...freezes up everytime. turned all that off and its fine, i reformated it and its fine....On my G3.... but when i put it into the starmax....it takes a few minutes, then the icon comes onto the desktop and it freezes. Then when i restarted it i had a blank screen... finally I got the old paperclip out and tried to eject it ...maybe i did not push hard enuf...now its making alll kinds of noises (as it was ejecting it!) ...whew! so now im not sure if its broke or conflicting with something wondering if maybe i don't have the right driver in there...( i did a reinstall of all system software....but zip is working?? Any help would be appreciated!
