I also went with the D-Link DFE-530TX+ card in my 4200DT with no upgrades
except RAM to 144MB, 8.1GB Hard Disk and replaced the eide CD-ROM with a Yamaha
CD-RW. I bought the NIC to allow attachment of a Motorola SB4100 cable modem.
There have been 2 problems:

1. After installation problems, I found I had to "hack" the NIC software.
Easy process as per their instructions after I recognized the problem.

2. My monitor picture now does a lot of quivering - very hard on the eyes.
Haven't ascertained yet whether it is caused by the NIC or the Modem however it
quits when I disconnect the Modem at the NIC card but comes back upon
reconnection. Turning off the modem has no effect.

Caution: Make sure to follow instructions whether to install the card or it's
software first.
