My daughter (18 yr old) recently got a digital video camera and since it's
so expensive to put a firewire card in the rev A iMac she's using (a Sonnet
processor upgrade w/ firewire port- $200), I was considering getting a
firewire card for our Starmax so she could do some digital video work on it.
Let me know if you get it to work to satisfaction or if others have. Sounds
like we have almost identical upgrades.
I also recently got a beige G3 Mac but want to keep that for myself.
Thanks, Nickutah
