Any burner which works with Toast will work, when you're shopping 
around just check the recorder support database at 
http://www.roxio.com, also check the xlr8 database for user reports 
http://forums.xlr8yourmac.com/drivedb/search.drivedb.lasso. Bootable 
drives are a bit harder to find for a reasonable price, but you can 
always keep your existing CD-ROM to boot from, so it doesn't really 
matter that much.
