I am currently attempting to get a Visioneer Strobe sheetfed scanner to
work on my StarMax 3000. I noticed that some of you have installed USB
cards and Ethernet cards. This is also the case for me. The one thing
I have noticed is that when I open the Apple System Profiler under the
Apple Menu, I do not see any listing for the SCSI bus. I am about to
either try zapping/reseting the PRAM(it did seem to lose track of the
correct time) or rearranging the two interface cards I have
installed(USB and NIC).

Another problem relates to the KVM switch I am using. I have noticed
that the StarMax will either not establish a connection to my PS/2 mouse
or PS/2 keyboard at startup or it will lose connection with one or both
of my PS/2 devices when I switch between systems. I had hoped to find
software that would reinitialize the keyboard and mouse connects upon
execution.

Does anyone have some ideas on one or both of these problems

Does anyone have any ideas?

Know what you mean. Mine was sitting around for two years.

Haven't maxed it out yet, but here's what I've added to my 3000/200:

128MB of RAM
Dual USB card
Triple FireWire card
Ethernet Card
Upgraded to OS 9.1

At some point, I'm considering upgrading to a G3 processor.

Hope that gives you some ideas anyway.
