Tis a pity - I was hoping that this problem was dealt with by now (and with an OS like Linux certainly expected it to have been sorted a long time ago). If HFS+ support fails to work as desired, there is an alternative set of programs to virtually mount an HFS+ partition, change to and list directories, and copy files over onto a regular location. Because this is a virtual mount, it cannot be seen by any other applications, but you can at least copy files over without needing to reboot and move files into a shared HFS partition or floppy or anything. I think they go under the names of hpmount, hpls, hpcopy and hpcd. - Daniel. -- StarMax is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> StarMax list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/starmax.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:starmax@;mail.maclaunch.com> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:starmax-off@;mail.maclaunch.com> For digest mode, email: <mailto:starmax-digest@;mail.maclaunch.com> Subscription questions: <mailto:listmom@;lowendmac.com> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/starmax%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Macintosh?
