I haven't tried this but I believe that the motherboards were the same and
the riser card depended on which case you got. Desktop cases got 3 pci slots
and minitowers got 5. You said that both motherboards were out of 4000
systems so I think you should be able to put the 5 slot riser into your new
motherboard. Do the motherboards you have look the same? Is the connecter on
the riser the same?
