Thanks, everyone, I do clean out the dust a few times/year, and DFA finds nothing wrong, but I wanted to take your good advice and back up the HD. So I hooked up the zip disk (iomega 100) clicked on the icon, and-instant freeze, making me have to shut down. Then I remembered the reason I disconnected the zip disk in the first place- it does that each time I try to use it. Is there anything I can download to fix this?
