Sounds like a SCSI conflict. Make sure you set your Zip SCSI to an address
your system isn't using. Usually, SCSI ID 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 are free (CD uses ID
3), but check your devices/volumes in Apple System Profiler to make sure
what's being used.
