That would be me. I inherited a 3000/200/96MB/2GB/Ethernet that runs
pretty well (someone was throwing it away) and was just wondering if
it has any magical abilities. I'm versed in some of the other flavors
of PCI based Mac prior to the factory G3 machines (6500, 7300, 7500,
7600, 8500, PowerBase, PowerCenter, PowerTower Pro, oh and a llci in
the house right now) but I haven't used this flavor of Mac. Would it
make a decent server (file or web)? Is upgrading the OS to 9.1
warranted (I don't mind being at 8.6, just curious). What is the
upgrade route for the CPU? Could it possibly run X10.x? Is it similar
to the 6x00 machines (limited RAM room, odd access to internals)?
Directions to favorite online information sites for this machine also
appreciated. And thanks in advance for reading and responding.

TTFN,
Greg
