Hi Frank, hate to say, "DIMMS must be 168-pin,3.3V unbuffered Extended Data Out(EDO), 60 nanosecond RAM accsess time or faster"(info from Starmax Yahoo group FAQ, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/starmax-talk/files/%20StarMax-Talk%20FAQ). I also think that when hardware goes "hardware"(saw and hammer), the results can be scarry, I'm not sure what would happen, but would you take that risk?
I'm sure others will offer there suggestions, but it sound like a Mis-fit. >From: Frank Bialas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (StarMax List) >Subject: Mis-fit 64MB 3.3v 168-pin DIMM >Date: Wed, 2 Apr 2003 2:09 PM > > I'm such a noodge. > > I traded some PM 8500 memory modules for a 64MB 3.3v 50-ns DIMM > that I thought would fit my Starmax 3000.
