There are ways to make USB work with OS 8.6 but I don't remember them. I
would sugest going to OS 9.1. It works for me and I have USB, SCSI, video,
10/100ethernet and IDE PCI cards. The system is quite stable and USB works
with printers, Nomad, Olympys camera and other periferals too.
