I was using a PS/2 mouse on this StarMax in Linux, so go figure... PS/2 support seems to be done at the hardware level to me, but I don't know. I run a Logitech PS/2 mouse on my StarMax, with TheMouse2B for right-button support. My only complaint is a resolution conflict somewhere - the cursor wants to move in approximately 1.5 pixel increments, so it moves first one, then two, then one, then two... irritating for doing artwork, but otherwise not an issue really. Might just be a bad choice of mouse? Not tried any other PC mice on this to compare. Though if you want support for anything like a mouse wheel or more than two buttons, or any right button support higher than modifier key and/or click-and-hold or double click functionality, then you will probably need to go USB so as to take advantage of what seems to be rather more advanced driver software. -- StarMax is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> StarMax list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/starmax.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/starmax%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
