I remembered that I had an old ps/2 mouse in my pile of compu-junk. I decided to plug it in to see if it would work. It plugs and plays just fine. I tried it on 8.6 and my other partition that has 8.1. If anything it works a little better under 8.1. By the way, I left the ADB mouse connected and either can be used, maybe both. Apparantly the necessary bits are in the hardware. redsilo
