Yes, 9.1 is the highest you can normally install in a starmax. I got mine
from eBay- it was actually a powerbook install CD but works fine in other
machines. I think I paid about $30. I also upgraded my daughter's iMac and
my Beige G3 w/ it, so about $10 ea- good deal. I don't know if Apple
retailers sell them anymore.
