I expected more also but that's how it is.
Did you do it more than once and hold it down for a long time each time? I think someone told me to hold it down for 30 seconds and repeat 3 times


Also, the replacement battery is not a Rayovac
840, but rather a combination of three AA batteries wrpped in a plastic
cover and with a velcro pad -- it is 4.5 on a volt meter.)

I think that's okay too
Other than that, I don't have any idea besides the long cuda hold. Is it plugged in when you do that?
