Hermann,

You are on the Yahoo iCab list aren't you? Amidst all the chaff, there are some details about making iCab work better until version 3.0 comes out. (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/icab/)

You know that M$ Internet Exploder is at the end of its Mac line. No more updates and it will never deal with compliant coding. We know that Netscrape is really a memory hog and will eat up the StarMax's limited CPU and memory cycles. Otherwise, I think version 6.x will work. Check their site.

Mozilla has two browsers that are worth a look. One is (oddly named) Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org) and the other is FireFox. On my Linux box, they both look quite nice though I haven't stress-tested them yet.

My StarMax is running 9.1 quite smoothly. I was really pleased with the improvements of 8.6. I think you will too. I didn't really see any reason to move to 9.1 other than that I had a usable copy of it.

Subject: Browsers, which ones for OS 8.6?

I am currently using OS 8.1 on a StarMax 3240, but I plan
to install OS 8.6.
Which browsers do work with it? Which ones are recommended?
