A couple more random SN Pro 3.1.1 questions/issues:

i) I realize that one can select multiple constellations using the
constellation tool using a series of shift-clicks, and that one can
de-select in the reverse order using the Edit->Undo menu (cmd-Z). However,
wouldn't it be natural for a second shift-click on a selected constellation
to de-select it? This way, one could de-select an out-of-sequence
constellation, something which I don't currently know how to do. (I might
add that selecting/de-selecting objects like stars DOES work in the
expected and traditional fashion. Why shouldn't the constellation tool
behave similarly?)

ii) I use the old-style floating Info Windows. Should SNP 3.1.1 allow more
than one Info Window simultaneously?

iii) I noticed something a little wacky today: try dragging anything but a
writeable text file over a SNP window. (A folder, an application, a
read-only TTRO will all do.) Whatever constellation is under the file will
display along with the constellation's name. When one drags the file back
to where it was (or to the menubar) and switches back to SNP, the affected
constellation names appear as munged shadows in the current SNP document,
though I can clear them with a little toggle o' the old windowshade
