This project is very interesting as It is bridging the gap between wordpress themes and statusnet themes. A statusnet user will install a plugin [wordpress theme plugin] and will give path to download the wordpress theme. He can upload wordpress themes to his server though by using FTP. So, after downloading the wordpress theme using plugin It should be unzipped automatically.
I have designed a diagram that shows how this should work. I am going to insert the image in the document. This Compatibility layer will benefit the people to use the wordpress themes with their statusnet sites. They can even use their custom designed wordpress themes to their statusnet sites. So it will be a very rich feature for micro blogging. -- Adnan Failure takes you higher than success ..!
