check your jpeg datatype settings: STFax expects it to return a
standard bitmap (ie. max 8 bitplanes). If it returns a 24 bits
bitmaps it will break it.

It might be a timing problem: to check, set Debug to Log in
Prefs/Misc, do a couple of tests and send STFax:STFax.log to
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
