It all works fine for me, so there is most likely something wrong in what
you are doing somewhere.

BEFORE YOU READ ON, GARETH...
/ F o r g e t Q. 1) ! /
I've just seen your very flash system spec listed at the btm of yr email
(envy, envy).
I'll leave Q.1) here just in case it gives anyone else any help. Q. 2)
still worth thinking about though.
1)
How much FastMem and how much ChipMem do you have under the bonnet?
Do you have a chip mem prob?
Which Amiga do you have?
What hardware add-ons have you slotted in (680?0 card etc)?
Whis version of the OS are you using?
Do you use an AGA display?
What screenmode are you on for Workbench?
What settings does the Wb screenmode have (Width x Ht. x No-of-colours)?
/AND/ what screenmode are you on for WORDWORTH?
What settings does the WW screenmode have (Width x Ht. x No-of-colours)?
When chipmem runs low, things system performance starts to falter, and
things start refusing to happen.
Before you try to print from Ww6 to STF, how much chipmem stil registers?
IIRR, the Ww menu, 'File/About' will tell you this.
Do you know already how to boost chipmem by
(a) cutting back on chipmem usage in your Preferences settings?
(b) tweaking an AGA system (OS3.5 + only) with FBlit and WBCtrl to move
divert system demands away from chipmem and over tofastmem instead?
2)
R U by any chance using TurboPrint?
If so, Tp grabs all output to printers, irrespective of which prtr drvr is
selected, cos Tp knowsit can print more prettily. This prob incl output to
STF. So tell Tp to use Workbench printer before STFing.
3)
If you want a test-receive fax, send me your fax number. I'll then fax
something to you using Ww and STFax. That way (if it works both ends!)
you'll be able,
(a) to test your setup for /incoming/ faxes,
(b) to see what Ww + STFax /outgoing/ faxes look like.
4)
Tell you what, STFax works for me, so how about if
You send me your computer and I'll send you mine.
