Hi, I recently bought STFAX and I can't get anything to work properly. I have
tried reading the manual and following the intstructions, but it still work..
here's a summary of the probs, if anyone can help id really appreciate it!
making a fax from an external program - wordsworth6
when i print the document 'to' stfax.. it doesnt bring up a file requestor
like it says in the docs.. and subsequently it wont work.. infact if i leave
my printer on, it prints.. so its certainly not even going through stfaxPRT
properly.
making a fax interally,
when i write a fax, with or without a coversheet the program always halts at
'converting ascii to fax' and never ever completes this step. the same
happens when i attach a text document. the only way i can get an actual fax
to work is if i attach a graphic file which is 4 colours - it wont work with
any higher than 4. the graphic file has to be about 1024*768 before it is big
enough to be readable, and even then the image is 'across' the page like a
'landscape' print instead of the way it should be. the image is also about
10x littler than it should be even when i tick 'scale image'.
so i cant make a fax basically! :-(.. i bought this software for my business
and i read nothing but good reviews, so i must be doing something wrong.. if
i cant fix it i will have to ring eyetech and ask for my money back..
