Hi,
I have installed the SupraExpress56e and it works well. My initiallation
string is AT&L0&F2&D2E0. I would like it if the modem was quiet. I added L0
to the string, but it does not change the sound. Suggestions would help?
I am having some problems with Stfax too. The biggest problem is me. I
am not very computer proficient.
1. I use an oversized WB screen and the viewer opens to the full size of
the screen even though half is better. If I halve the viewer screen view
the fax then the next one will show up at the right size. How do I set
this?
2. I have not been able to set the script up correctly. Is there a step
by step proceedure or tutorial out there or a collection of scripts? I know
read the docs, but I have been reading the docs for two weeks and finding
friends who are free to send me faxes and recieve. Last time I set up for
voice/fax I couldn't recieve faxes. I am going to do more testing tomorrow
with a friend maybe I will get lucky. I need a script to Take fax if it is
fax. Answer the phone if it is voice. Press one to leave message. Press 2
to speak to someone. Press 3 to send fax if you initiated the call from a
voice connection.
3. The update script from 4.0 to 4.1 from aminet does not work
correctly. It updates everything, but copies stfax to stfax.old but does
not make a Stfax. I had to rename Stfax.old to Stfax.
4. How do you setup Miami Deluxe to shared?
5. Does SupraExpress56e support silent answer?
