It might help others to know what is the software or the website it is from.
You're supposed to be able to set your start page manually in IE7 and Firefox. IE7 = Tools > Internet Options > General (tab). Type the home page you want in the box. Firefox = Tools > Options > Main (tab). In the Startup section, type the home page you want in the box. If those don't work, you should do a virus scan.
