I just installed OpenSolaris from the Live CD 06/2009 (snv_111b) on a
white box (Tyan S2915 MB, two dual port Qlogic 2462 FC HBA) to which I
connected two Engenio (LSI) 3992 RAID controller modules.

`luxadm probe` finds and lists all configured LUs together with their
path specific devicename.

Unfortunately `mpathadm list lu` does not list any LUs at all.

My understaind is, that for x86 systems, multipathing should be
enabled by default, however stmsboot has a different idea:
# stmsboot -L
stmsboot: MPxIO is not enabled

(`stmsboot -e` followed by reboot, doesn't change that.)

I google'd quite a bit, but so far no luck. I had a look at [1], but
couldn't find anything too helpful there either (lots of outdated
documents there it seems).

So which document should I read to learn how to enable multipathing in
OpenSolaris?

You've come up against
http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6813365

which is fixed in build snv_113 - two builds after the version you
have installed.

Docs-wise, http://dlc.sun.com/osol/docs/content/2009.06/ points to
