I've also been reading some interesting stuff.

I'm planning on trying to use a SiL3276-based PM with an SB700-based board.
I've not been able to confirm whether or not the SB700 supports the PM
extensions or not, but did find a post that alluded to a BIOS update helping
out one individual.

Anyhoo, I'll report back later in the week when the PM hardware arrives!

If necessary, I'll get into the SATA code and see if I can figure out why
its not working for some.
