Hiya, I'm trying to get my old Sun 3/50M workstation to work with Storm
linux, everything is looking sweet, apart from NFS. Whilst there's nfs
mentioned in /etc/init.d I don't seem to have /usr/sbin/rpc.nfsd, even
thou dselect says I have nfs-server installed...
added: I hit + in dselect over nfs-server and it selected it to install,
even though it said it was already there... strange, I now have nfsd,
however I'm getting 'init died' messages whever the xterm tries to kick
into X.
The XKernel package comes with its own nfsd, which is says to use if
you have problems such as the above 'init died' message, however:
naked:/usr/export/src/nfs-server-2.0# make
gcc -c -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -g -Wall mountd.c
In file included from nfsd.h:76,
from mountd.c:17:
logging.h:16: conflicting types for `dprintf'
/usr/include/stdio.h:159: previous declaration of `dprintf'
make: *** [mountd.o] Error 1
naked:/usr/export/src/nfs-server-2.0#
So this isn't working to well :(
Does anyone here have any pointers/ideas/solutions?
Mark
