Hi everybody,
I currently dual boot Win95 and Linux. For some reason I'm not able to
get my email in Linux. Everything else seems fine though. I can
telnet, and surf the web but when I try retrieve my email, I get "Can't
locate mail server". I've been using netscape, but the problem persists
even when I tried Kmail.
Everything is configured exactly the same as in windoze (where I can
check my mail without problem), so I'm at a loss to explain this. Is
there something that could be blocking the port? I have checked to see
if I am in the appropriate /etc/group "mail", so I don't think it's a
permission problem (although I could be wrong).
Any ideas?
