Hi,
I ran xf86config to get storm linux kde to support my 1280x1024 settings.
The only catch is, the mouse in kde now takes off into the corner and is
inaccessible.
Mouse input only seems to confuse the poor little pointer.
I've got a Microsoft Intellimouse that was detected properly on the initial
storm install. I've entered several xf86config mouse configs trying to
convince my mouse to work again. All attempts were related to the microsoft
mouse and/or mouseman protocols. Each iteration I did a /etc/init.d/kdm
stop/start to pick up the configs.
Is there something different that occured in the original install that
properly detected the mouse protocol? If so, can I run this from just a
shell to configure the mouse properly?
Thanks,
Ron
