In the KDE GUI you can go to View at the top of the window, then click on 'show hidden
files' . Pretty easiy, eh. Sorry I don't use Gnome.

If you use netscape in win98 then copy the bookmark.htm for your user and then rename
to bookmarks.html in Unix/Linux. Place in the /home/'username'/.netscape directory
*note: username is your directory
