Sorry, wasn't following the thread.
Perhaps a little more information like what type of ZIP Drive it is
(Parallel, SCSI, ATAPI, IDE, USB).
I'd imagine that the zip disk may not be formatted.
mount -t vfat /dev/hdx /zip100
Will work if the zip disk is already formatted for windows use.
