From my experience the intgrated mices are PS2 ,BUT some of the
old laptops used a BusMouse interface ,especially the odd trackball.
You may want to try using busmouse.
Now with Stormix you have to be careful because gpm is started
always so you either run gpmconfig and use in XF86Config
/dev/gpmdata or you kill gpm for good .
Note.If gpm is running X won't take over so any configuration you
might've
made to XF86Config are useless since they'll be ignored or conflict with
gpm . IMHO .
