Afternoon Everyone,
Is anyone out there using Arkeria backup software with Hail? I presently
have this installed on a Mandrake 7.0 box, but am sick and tired of
Mandrake's quirks. So in my process to move this company over to
Stormix, I am researching case studies of people using the tools that
are presently deployed here.
For the record, as a Backup Solution Arkeria is a nice piece of
software. It's not perfect, but I find that at the Enterprise level they
are all missing some features. This software does backup Windows95/98/NT
clients as well as SunOS, Solaris, NFS mounted file systems. It does the
Winblows stuff without having to use Samba, which I personally really
like.
