Yes, I'm running software RAID 5 across 4 9GB Seagate U2LVD drives, using an
Adaptec 7896 dual channel. No problems with storm, but minor problems with
the aic7xxx drivers.

Subject: [SLU] software RAID and Hail
next dumb question for the day.
Is anyone doing a software RAID solution using Hail? I am thinking about
dropping a couple of SeaGate SCSI drives in my Linux file server and
doing the software RAID solution. I would prefer to go with a proper
stripped hardware solution, but alas the company doesn't want to spend
that kind of coin.
Later folks,
