Then SCSI emulation is not compiled as a module and judging from the errors
you get when you try to load imm.o, it's not compiled in the kernel either.

Mainly just double check all your kernel options including parallel port
access, scsi emulation, zip drive modules, etc. Make sure you didn't miss
something (it's easy to do, done it many times).
Also make sure you read the descriptions for every option. There is one that
says "You need this for parallel port zip drives" but I forget what it is
off of the top of my head and I'm not in front of my box right now.
