Note that with no change required in scanner.o, you don't need to rebuild
the kernel (it already includes the scanner.o as a module).

Device files were an oversight that will be fixed...

If HP's backend gets merged into standard SANE, support will be available
eventually...I don't think it is really that non-standard.
